Life after Greendale High School

After graduation I did a little traveling. Getting to experience the sights and
sounds of Colorado, Wyoming, Florida and New York.

Then it was time to earn a living and I got a job at General Electric where I
worked for 8½ Years. During my time at GE I participated in after work
activities including golfing, treasurer of the bowling league and fishing . . .
summer and winter.

The family life . . . I met my husband Robert Ryan . . . We married in 1962
and moved out of state. Our son Steve was born in Oak Park, IL in 1963. We
returned to Greendale in 1965 and our daughter Shelly was born two years
later in 1967 at St Luke's Hospital. Sadly, my husband died in 1971. We took
it one day at a time for a long time and came through the grieving process
different individuals.

Many years later, my children grown . . . Steve works in finance for a
company that sells herbs and nutritional supplements. Shelly is an elementary
school math teacher.

In 2006 I think I became the oldest, first time, grandmother when Steve
and wife Amy welcomed thir first child Liliana. I am still able to get down on
the floor and play with her and enjoy our time together immensely.

I enjoy a quiet life and take things as they come. With family , friends,
books and gardening my life is full.
